Recipes on the Grill

We have discovered this sauce is not just for barbecue. Its creamy base blended along with just the right amount of sweetness and spices makes for a very flavorful dipping sauce. Here are a few ideas for serving Miss Lillian’s Original Sauce™:

When using Miss Lillian’s Original Sauce™ while grilling it is best to use during the last 5 minutes or less of cooking time. Cooking longer than 5 minutes will cause the sauce to turn brown and overcook.

Country spare ribs:

Season country spare ribs with meat tenderizer and lightly sprinkle on garlic salt. Grill. During the last 5 minutes or less of grilling, brush Miss Lillian’s Original Sauce™ on both sides of ribs. Remove ribs from grill. Brush on more sauce before serving.

Steak:

Season steak with meat tenderizer. Grill. During the last 5 minutes or less of grilling, brush Miss Lillian’s Original Sauce™ on both sides of steak. Remove steak from grill. Brush on more sauce before serving.

Chicken:

Season chicken with salt or season salt. Grill. During the last 5 minutes or less of grilling, brush Miss Lillian’s Original Sauce™ on both sides of chicken. Remove chicken from grill. Brush on more sauce before serving.

Pan Fried Salmon

Season salmon steak with season salt, pepper and garlic powder and cut into quarters. Cover bottom of pan with olive oil (about ¼ cup). Heat oil until hot and fry salmon quarters for 3-4 minutes on each side. Brush Miss Lillian’ s Original Sauce on fish and serve. Miss Lillian’ s Original Sauce also tastes great on baked fish!
